Donald Baim, Boston Scientific's chief medical officer, has died following surgery for adrenal cancer. Dr Baim, who was 60 years old, was a former Harvard medical school professor and renowned interventional cardiologist. He left academia and his clinical practice to become Boston's CMO in May 2006.
