Executive Summary

The president of Korea’s health industry development institute (KHIDI) has reportedly stated that medical devices, drugs, health foods and medical services need to become a priority sector for development. Kim Bup-wan said that KHIDI would be focusing on promoting the health industry, which he says has the potential to boost job creation, bring wealth to the country and make it an industry leader by 2015, according to Korean online magazine digital BOSA.
