The UK has launched a review of its cervical screening policy, with a focus on whether the minimum age should be lowered from 25 years to 20, and how best to increase uptake rates. It will be led by the Advisory Committee on Cervical Screening (ACCS), and its results are expected to be presented to the Department of Health this year.
