BioElectronics selects distributor for the Middle East

Executive Summary

Dermal patch delivery system developer BioElectronics has secured a sales pathway to the Middle East for its drug-free, anti-inflammatory products. Dr Abdulkader Al-Mehyar Moh’d Basheer Halawy has become the firm’s sales agent based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to the company’s CEO Andrew Whelan, there is a strong demand for drug-free medical products in the region – the company claims that the new sales programme in the Middle East was launched with orders for 20,000 units. The Frederick, Maryland-based firm develops the ActiPatch and RecoveryRx wafer-thin patches, which contain embedded microchip and battery technology that delivers pulsed electromagnetic energy for pain relief therapy.
