AngioDynamics new president and CEO to take the reins on March 1

Executive Summary

AngioDynamics (Queensbury, New York), has appointed Jan Keltjens as president and CEO. On March 1 he will replace the company’s co-founder Eamonn Hobbs in this role. Mr Hobbs will become vice-chairman of the board of directors. Mr Keltjens joins from CryoCath Technologies (Quebec; cryotherapy products to treat cardiac arrhythmias), where he was president and CEO since early 2007. He has more than 20 years’ top level executive experience in the medical technology industry. AngioDynamics provides innovative medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of cancer and peripheral vascular disease.
