All-Brazilian pacemaker developers launch "pre-industrial negotiations"

An all-Brazilian pacemaker being developed by the Genius Institute of Technology (GIT) has entered the "negotiation phase for the development of a pre-industrial prototype". Within 18 months, the Manaus, Amazônia-based technology institute expects the device to have been tested and validated, when it should enter its final, industrialisation phase. So said GIT corporate projects manager M�rio Ferreira Filho, after the project received an R&D excellence award from IT magazine Inform�tica Hoje, for the "innovative nature and social relevance" of the device.
