Executive Summary
A group of experts convened by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions has produced recommendations for the optimal clinical application of three underutilized intra-coronary diagnostics – fractional flow reserve, intravascular ultrasound and optical coherence tomography – to improve patient care, especially in patients with complex heart disease or coronary lesions difficult to assess with standard angiography.
