Quest IVD focus: Quest Diagnostics hired Glen Freiberg Sept. 29 to run quality and regulatory functions for its three businesses that develop in vitro diagnostic test kits - Focus Diagnostics, Enterix and HemoCue. The former Gen-Probe and SpectraScience regulatory executive will take the title of executive director for IVD Quality and Compliance. Quest wants Freiberg to better align regulatory practices across the three units, which have a distinct focus from Quest's broader clinical lab services business
