Electronic component maker Technitrol sells its medical technology components supply business to private equity investor Altor Fund III for $200 million in cash June 2. Based in Denmark, the divested Medtech business generated $110 million in sales over the last year, and includes "armature receivers, high-end microphones, and electromechanical devices for the hearing aid, high-end audio headset, and medical device markets.
