Executive Summary
Senate Appropriations Committee votes June 22 to report the fiscal year 2007 appropriations bill for the "Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Food & Drug Administration, and Related Agencies" to the full Senate. As passed by the committee, the bill provides $229.2 mil. for CDRH, just $100,000 less than the President's budget request. In May, the House passed a version of the bill which shaved $476,000 off the President's request (1"The Gray Sheet" May 29, 2006, In Brief).
