Executive Summary
In vitro blood test for the human equivalent of mad cow disease, Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease (CJD), will be developed by the Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics unit of Johnson & Johnson under an exclusive, worldwide license agreement with Caprion Pharmaceuticals. The test will be based on prion technologies related to the monoclonal antibodies for CJD.
