Minnesota Department of Health is recommending that physicians begin rescheduling elective knee surgery Nov. 26, revoking a voluntary one-week moratorium on the procedures issued Nov. 18. The moratorium followed the recent, unexplained deaths of three patients, two of whom underwent total knee replacement surgery and one of whom had cartilage repair surgery, just days after the operations.
