PhotoMedex and subsidiaries Laser Analytics and Acculase sue SurgiLight in Orange County, Florida for misappropriation and use of trade secrets and other confidential information, the firm says. Filed June 20, the lawsuit alleges that a former employee of PhotoMedex improperly disclosed trade secrets and confidential information to SurgiLight both before and after his termination of employment. PhotoMedex' excimer laser system is approved by FDA for treatment of psoriasis. PhotoMedex plans to officially change its name from Laser Photonics upon shareholder approval July 18
