Executive Summary
Fiscal year 2000 fee schedules for durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics, and surgical dressings will be issued to the four regional DME carriers and local Medicare Part B carriers Nov. 4 and be made publicly available Dec. 1 for managed care organizations and other interested parties, according to a recent program memorandum. The fee schedules will be implemented Jan. 17, 2000, for all claims with dates of service on or after Jan. 1, 2000
