Executive Summary
Year 2000 revision of the 1994 ISO 9000 standards should be published in the second quarter of next year, Nick Dayton, PhD, director of quality assurance services in Abbott Labs' hospital products division tells attendees of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society annual conference Oct. 5. The revision pares ISO 9000's 20 standards down to four, with related technical reports. The revised standards will include provisions for the "appropriate non-applicability of standards"
