Suit against Hyseq filed Aug. 18 in San Francisco federal court alleges infringement of a recently granted Affymetrix patent related to a computer program that determines the identity of unknown bases in a nucleic acid sample. The complaint responds to infringement actions filed by Hyseq against Affymetrix in 1997
