A July 28 preliminary injunction barring Roche-Boehringer Mannheim's distribution to the physician-office market of the Elecsys line of immunoassay analyzers incorporating Igen's Origen technology should strengthen Igen's position in discussions with Roche aimed at settling the firms' dispute over a 1992 licensing agreement.
