Executive Summary
MODIFICATION TO ANSELL CONDOM MANUFACTURING PROCESS ensures safety of condoms shipped over the past two years, Eatontown, New Jersey-based Ansell Personal Products says. The company announced Oct. 21 a voluntary recall of 57 mil. of its LifeStyles, Prime and Contempo lines of condoms made before the change because "some of these products have been found to deteriorate before the end of their shelf life and may not adequately protect against pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease," the company says.
