Executive Summary
Excimer laser seizures: FDA seizes three additional unapproved excimer lasers that were being used for vision correction surgery, two in physicians' offices and one at a freight company. Lasers were seized at the offices of Albert Neumann, MD, in Orlando, Florida and Nicholas Caro, MD, in Chicago, Illinois. FDA seized another PDI laser at Miami-based Pro Cargo, a freight forwarder for the company.
