Photoelectron expands Photon Radiosurgery System brain tumor treatment trials.

Executive Summary

PHOTOELECTRON CORP.'S PHOTON RADIOSURGERY SYSTEM CLINICAL TRIALS are being expanded with the addition of two clinical sites, the University of Southern California at Los Angeles and University of California at San Francisco. The sites are expected to begin enrolling patients by the end of February. Three other U.S. sites -- Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City -- already are participating in the study, which is evaluating the Photon Radiosurgery System as a treatment for brain tumors.
