Executive Summary
GSA funds for FDA campuses: The $164.4 mil. that the General Services Administration has requested in its fiscal year 1996 budget and the $45 mil. appropriated to GSA for FY 1995 will go towards Phase II of the consolidation plan for FDA campuses in Montgomery County and Prince George's County, Maryland ("The Gray Sheet" Dec. 12, 1994, p. 6). Of the $209 mil. total, $34 mil. is slated for site development for the Center for Devices and Radiological Health and construction of a common cafeteria and child care center at the Montgomery campus. The remaining $175 mil. would go to the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition offices and labs in Prince George's County.
