Executive Summary
Will be used by FDA in its development of standards to implement the Mammography Quality Screening Act of 1992, according to agency staffers. The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research-funded panel developing the clinical practice guidelines recently held a public hearing in Bethesda, Maryland to gain input on the document. The guidance, entitled "Quality Determinants for Mammography," is expected to be finalized late this year.
