Executive Summary
Members of President-elect Clinton's transition team "cluster" with responsibility for HHS met with Secretary-designate Donna Shalala, PhD, Dec. 27-28 to discuss pending and future issues to be addressed by the department when she takes office. Many of the HHS cluster group personnel have completed their transition work and returned to Capitol Hill to resume congressional staff duties.
