In fall 2023, the charity Prostate Cancer UK announced it will lead a major screening program starting this year. With funding of £42m ($53m), including a government contribution of £16m, the Transform study is described as the biggest UK prostate cancer diagnosis trial in 20 years. It will begin recruiting in fall 2024.
