Minute Insight: Medtronic Received Medicare Coverage For New MiniMed 780G Insulin Pump

Medtronic has secured coverage to market its recently approved MiniMed 780G insulin pump to eligible Medicare and Medicare Advantage beneficiaries, opening access to more patients after a long delay in bringing the device to the US market.

Medtronic plc said it secured extended coverage from the US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for its newly launched MiniMed 780G insulin pump. The company plans to process orders immediately and start shipments over the coming weeks.
