BSI Receives Expert Panel Opinion For Non-Novel Device

The newly established expert panels have published seven opinions so far under the Medical Device Regulation. The first six were for novel devices or uses. Now an established device has been reviewed, and the expert panel agrees longer-term data are needed.

A first expert panel opinion has been published on the European Commission’s website on a fully resorbable mesh.

This is the seventh opinion provided under the Clinical Evaluation Consultation Procedure in the context of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
