Swiss Medtech Awards Honors Three Exciting Companies, Healios, Biospectal And Alveolix.

Switzerland’s status as a medtech hub is illustrated by its welcoming attitude toward startups. Medtech Insight spoke to three of them to learn about how their technologies will transform health care and how the line between medtech and pharma is increasingly blurred.

As part of the Swiss Medtech Day in June, the industry association presented its annual award, which came with a CHF75,000 ($77,000) cash prize, sponsored by the Lichtsteiner Foundation, Sonova Group, Straumann Group, and Ypsomed.
