NeuroOne: Thinner Is Better When It Comes To Brain Electrodes

NeuroOne manufactures the thinnest FDA-approved stereoelectroencephalography electrode for 30-day use, and a recent Emory University study could further expand their applications.

NeuroOne has followed a design philosophy of “thinner is better” with its thin-film Evo Cortical and Evo sEEG (stereoelectroencephalography) electrodes, which received US Food and Drug Administration market clearances in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

The Evo Cortical Electrode is the thinnest electrode approved for 30-day monitoring also, measuring just 0.08mm thick and weighing 0.05-grams.
