Medtech industry jobs and even entire companies could disappear if the US Congress doesn’t renew the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs before they expire in September, an exec at a 22-employee device company that has received several grants over the last 15 years said.
