Ukraine Wants Medtech Business As Usual Even As Russian Siege Intensifies

The medtech supply chain is damaged and humanitarian aid needs are rising after two weeks of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. The government is addressing the emergency situation while driving to maintain business as usual for the sake of the economy.

The biggest problem in Ukraine, as Russia intensifies its war in the country, remains the lack of medicines, medical devices and food products. The problem became more acute in the second week of the military aggression, after Russia changed tactics and increased its shelling of cities and civilians in a bid to accelerate the growing humanitarian crisis.

The list of Ukraine’s medical device and medicine needs has been updated by the government.
