EU Now Boasts 27 MDR Notified Bodies With Latest Italian Designation

Demand for notified body certification under the Medical Device Regulation is predicted to grow exponentially over the next two years. Two new organizations have been designated in 2022 already.

Italian notified body Italcert has been listed in the European Commission’s Nando database as designated against the Medical Device Regulation.

This brings the total number of EU MDR designated bodies to 27, with Italy’s total now seven, the same as Germany’s.
