Dexcom Announces CGM Real-Time Data Now Available On Garmin Wearables, Bike Computers

Dexcom is making CGM data available through consumer devices starting with Garmin’s smartwatches and bicycle computers.

After receiving the nod from the US Food and Drug Administration in July to let third-party developers integrate real-time continuous glucose monitoring data into their devices, DexCom, Inc. announced its first partnership is with Garmin, a leader in GPS navigation and wearable technology for the fitness and outdoor markets.

Dexcom G6 users can now download glucose levels and trends on a Garmin smartwatch or cycling computer with Dexcom apps available from the Connect IQ Store, Dexcom said. (Also see...
