Patients with aortic stenosis who live in poorer communities are less likely to be treated with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) than patients who live in wealthier areas, a study led by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania showed.
Ashwin Nathan of the University of Pennsylvania presented the study results at the 2021 Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) Scientific Sessions on 29 April.
