Half Of Eudamed3 Modules To be Available By September

Information exchange and transparency are at the heart of the EU’s new medtech regulatory system. Despite delays in building the new version of the Eudamed medical database, the commission is encouraging its use as each building block becomes available.

The European Commission has officially confirmed that two more modules of the updated European medical device database, Eudamed3, will be accessible later this year.

These modules are for UDI/device registration (the second module) and certificates and notified bodies (the third module). Available by September, their use will be voluntary.
