White House To Deliver 25 Million Face Masks To Low-Income Americans

The White House will be spending $86m to provide tens of millions of coronavirus masks to poorer American households.

Beginning in March, the White House plans to deliver 25 million COVID-19 masks to food banks and community health centers to give away to low-income Americans, President Joe Biden announced on 24 February. The giveaway will be directed by the US Departments of Defense and Health and Human Services.

The masks will be well-fitting cloth masks that were manufactured in the USA. They will be reusable, washable and available in adult and children’s sizes, according to a White House...
