The US Health and Human Services Department is still offering – until 6 November – $20bn in new funding for providers on the frontier of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, under a Phase 3 general distribution allocation, health care providers who have already received HHS provider relief funds may apply for additional funding, the agency stated.
Further, the agency is inviting previously ineligible providers – such as newer start-up firms and clinicians who began practicing in 2020 — to apply for the funding.
