House Speaker Pelosi, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin To Pick Up Negotiations Soon On COVID-19 Relief Bill

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin are expected to pick up the pace on negotiations behind another COVID-19 relief package, post-election.

While both Democratic and Republican negotiators on coronavirus relief bills seem concerned about crafting legislation to provide a new traunch of funding to support further testing for the COVID-19 virus, Congress-watchers, including Food and Drug Administration supporters, believe a final bill will have to wait until after the US election results are announced later this week.
