COVID-19 Flexibility For Telehealth Payments Should Be Made Permanent, Telemedicine Group Tells CMS

Easing of reimbursements for more telehealth providers and more payments for use of remote patient monitoring sought

The American Telemedicine Association backed use of more telehealth providers and changes to remote monitoring reimbursements in comments to the US Medicare agency.

Expanding access to more telehealth providers, allowing more changes to remote patient monitoring services and use telemedicine in federal qualified health centers were emphasized by the American Telemedicine Association in recent comments to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on its 2021 physician fee schedule proposed rule.
