Under-40s health care professionals’ attitudes have changed during COVID-19, and they want health care system to change too, according to a new report from Royal Philips.

Unprecedented levels of stress and limited resources to cope with the lethal threat of COVID-19 were common experiences for health care professionals, including the younger generation, in the early, intense months of the pandemic in particular.

And as the crisis took hold, younger doctors discovered that digital health technology was the factor that was most improving their experiences at work, even overtaking artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
