Telehealth Act Introduced In US House Would Eliminate Geographic Originating Site Restrictions

A bipartisan group of US House members have introduced the Protecting Access to Post-COVID-19 Telehealth Act, a bill to ease Medicare beneficiaries’ telemedicine access.

The American Telemedicine Association on 16 July praised four US House members for their introduction of a bill that would permanently put into place certain restrictions on physicians’ reimbursement for use of telehealth to treat their Medicare patients.
