This coming year, the insulin pump market is expected to see several next-generation product launches by big names such as Medtronic PLC, Tandem Diabetes Care Inc. and Insulet Corp. Meanwhile, two smaller companies that leverage machine learning – Beta Bionics Inc. and Bigfoot Biomedical Inc. – also hope to bring products to market in 2020 or 2021. Diabeloop, EOFlow and Ypsomed, are also working on automated pump systems, according to a new report by Informa's Meddevicetracker, "Diabetes Management: Insulin Pumps Market."
