J&J Team Up With China’s Tinavi; A Much Needed Boost For Spine Business?

A new co-marketing agreement with Chinese orthopedics group Tinavi could be key in turning round Johnson & Johnson’s spine business, according to executives. The collaboration will allow J&J’s DePuy Synthes business, to sell the TiRobot for spine and trauma surgery in the Chinese market.

Johnson & Johnson has signed an agreement to co-market Tinavi’s robotic solutions in China. The Beijing company is the developer of TiRobot, the only arm-based robotic technology with multiple indications approved for use in spine and trauma in China.
