US House Agrees To Retain 8% Boost In Funding For FDA's Device Center Next Year

The US House completed work on the FDA portion of an appropriations “minibus” bill for 2020 on 20 June, agreeing to retain an approximate 8% increase for the agency’s device center.

The US House Thursday night agreed to boost FDA device center budget authority by 8% in 2020, over the current year level

The House on 20 June finished work on the FDA/Agriculture portion of a combined minibus appropriations bill, HR 3055, providing the US Food and Drug Administration's device center with $33m more in budget authority than the $387m it is working with in the current fiscal year.
