The US Senate last week voted 85-7 in favor of an $854bn “minibus” spending billproviding 2019 funding for several US agencies, including the Departments of Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and backing brain research and precision medicine programs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
“The bill prioritizes resources for programs that touch the lives of every American,” said Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., chairman of the Senate Labor-HHS Appropriations Subcommittee
