Message To US Congress: Know What Cybersecurity Tools You Have, Share What You Know, Untie Our Hands

Stakeholders across the health-care spectrum say hospitals should work to create inventories of medical devices and the tools they have in stock to fight cybersecurity threats. Groups also emphasized the importance of all parties sharing information about vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies as another critical strategy for defending the health-care system against cybersecurity attacks.

In April, the House Energy and Commerce Committee sent out a request for information to health-care stakeholders on what can be done to stem the growing problem of cybersecurity threats to the health-care system, and specifically medical devices
