M&A Deals Drop In 2015, With IVD-Sector Transactions Still Leading The Pack

There were 225 medtech M&A deals in 2015, down from 269 in 2014, according to Clinica's M&A Tracker. The in vitro diagnostics sector continues to be the most popular for transactions.

Companies making in-vitro diagnostic technology and cardiovascular products were the most popular targets for mergers and acquisitions in the medical technology space during 2015. That is according to data collected in the M&A Tracker

hosted by "Gray Sheet" sister publication Clinica.
