Hamburg Warns Some Of Congress’ ‘Cures’ May Be ‘Dangerous’

Outgoing FDA Commissioner also cautions against unfunded mandates in Energy & Commerce’s biomedical reform proposal.

FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg said the agency wants to do everything it can to make Congress’ biomedical reform initiative successful but cautioned that some of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s 21st Century Cures proposals are “worrisome” and others “may be downright dangerous.”
