After more than six years of effort, the American Joint Replacement Registry came out with its first data report this month. While the data so far reflects only a small minority of U.S. hip and knee procedures, organizers says it delivers some useful nuggets of information, and that the report is a step towards providing a more comprehensive picture of joint replacements in the U.S.
