Specialty orthopedic company Wright Medical Group Inc. has appointed Kevin D. Cordell president of its U.S. extremities business, effective Sept. 29. Cordell replaces Eric Stookey, who stepped down from his post Aug. 20 and is no longer with Wright Medical, the firm said. Chief Operating Officer Pascal Girin temporarily took over Stookey’s duties after he left, according to an Aug. 20 regulatory filing from the firm.
