Medtronic Announces New Kyphoplasty Platform

The firm says the new system will give physicians more options to treat patients with a varying severity of spinal injury.

Medtronic PLC launched its Kyphon Express II kyphoplasty platform Wednesday to treat vertebral compression fractures that it says allows physicians to treat patients with more efficiency and precision.
